CWA Canada’s senior leaders elected to new terms

The senior leadership of CWA Canada has been returned to office after being elected by acclamation.

President Martin O’Hanlon and Vice-President Lois Kirkup were unchallenged at the end of the nomination period on April 16, the CWA Canada Election Committee reported.

The two officers were declared elected on Friday, the opening day of the National Representative Council meeting in Ottawa.

The president, which is a full-time, paid position, and the vice-president serve four-year terms.

O’Hanlon and Kirkup will be sworn in to office at the CWA Convention, to be held in Detroit in June.
