We would like to thank everyone for their comforting words and endless support
during this period of sadness in our lives. For many years, the Guild has been an
extended family for John and Guild business was often a topic of conversation at
our supper table.

To John's friends and colleagues,
This past August, John felt the need to attend the CWA/TNG convention in Chicago
in order to see everyone again. It was similar in September, with the TNG Canada
meetings in Ottawa. It was important for him to make these trips and we are delighted
that he had the chance to once again be among those people who meant so much to him.
Thank you once again for your expressions of sympathy; they have been a great source
of comfort during these very difficult times.
