Web site usage / Information collection
The Your Media web site automatically obtains information from you about the name of your Internet service provider, the browser and type of computer you are using, the web site that referred you to us, the pages you request and the date and time of those requests. We use this information on an aggregate basis to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of the site to our visitors. For example, we use this information to track which pages are most popular among visitors as a whole. We do not track the pages you or any individual visitor may look at during a visit to our site and we do not collect any other information without your knowledge and permission. We do not collect or store personally identifiable information, such as your name, mailing address, email address or phone number, unless you provide that information.
Your Media's enM@SSE program
Although the Your Media web site does not employ cookies, its enMASSE e-activism
program does. Through cookies, enM@SSE recognizes members, facilitates
their access to and use of the program, and tracks usage behaviour
for the purpose of improving content.
If you do not want a cookie placed on your computer by enM@SSE, you can disable cookies altogether by modifying the Preferences settings of your Internet browser. Note that it is possible that some aspects of enM@SSE, such as auto Log In for members, may be unavailable to you if you choose this option.
If you have no problem accepting cookies, but wish to be informed of their appearance, you may turn on a warning prompt by modifying the cookie warning section in your browser's Preferences settings.
Get Active maintains a membership database that contains information about you if you elect to become a member of enM@SSE. As a third-party provider, Get Active is committed to protecting the privacy of those members and subscribers, and will not utilize your information for any other purpose but to provide the services for which they were contracted.
People who sign up with enM@SSE, Your Media's e-activism program, are given the opportunity in every mailing to unsubscribe by using the procedure specified in the message.
