CWA Canada Retiree Council

Calling all retirees and those who will soon be retired or are thinking about retirement.

The CWA Canada Retirees Council Wants YOU!

Our Council unites retired media workers to advocate for social change. We promote democracy, free and independent journalism, public broadcasting, union rights and social reform to improve the health and well-being of all Canadians.

Any CWA Canada retiree or dues-paying member who has reached the age of 55 is eligible (along with his or her partner) to join the Council for just $20 annually. Some Locals are paying first-year memberships for new retirees so please check with your Local before you pay.

Members can take advantage of benefits and discounts offered through the Union Savings program. Details can be found on the CWA Canada website; when you call, just tell them your Local before retirement.
